Doc Walker rolls out the 'Beautiful Life' album and tour to follow their heralded self-titled 'Album of the Year'
RGK Entertainment Group Inc. and Open Road Recordings are anxiously anticipating the release of DOC WALKER's 4th studio album 'Beautiful Life' which according to manager Ron Kitchener is "a very special record - top to bottom - with great songs that will mean something to listeners and will stay with them."  The members of Doc Walker - Chris Thorsteinson, Dave Wasyliw and Murray Pulver, all from outside Winnipeg, have set the benchmark high seeing as their last release 'Doc Walker' brought home the 'Album of the Year' honour at the 2007 Canadian Country Music Awards - much to the pleasure of a clearly satisfied audience. But as they head to their home city of Winnipeg for the 2008 celebration of Country Music Week, it is apparent they will once again be the talk of their town with the first single and video - 'Beautiful Life' - already closing in on top ten after a very short time. The video clip directed by Chris Hickey (Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town) is available for viewing at www.docwalker.ca/dwtv.asp

The new body of work lusciously titled 'Beautiful Life' has been a year in the making and with Justin Niebank (Producer credits: Vince Gills latest GRAMMY winning release, Van Zant, Lonestar /Mixing credits: Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, John Mellencamp etc) producing the album, it promises to be another great collection of songs based on pedigree alone.  The album is stacked with Doc Walker originals (including 'Beautiful Life') and co-writes,  including two with respected fellow Canadian writers Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Deric Ruttan.  They also chose to record two masterfully crafted if not well known covers of 'Angry Heart' by Radney Foster and 'That's All' by Genesis.
