| Mike Lynch wrote or co-wrote 10 of the 11 tracks, the 11th was written by Fred Eaglesmith "Livin' Out on the Road". The title track 'MJL Was Here' indulges us with a Harmonica and was written while Mike was touring Northern Ontario. The song tells us a story of someone carving his name in a bench and the consequences of doing so. 'Big Vacation' reminds us not to sweat the small stuff, 'Highway Dreams' mentions the Yukon and 'Dawson City Blues' that not all pretty women are honest. 'Broken Down Heart ' ends the album with just MJL and his guitar, very simple, very country. If you want a cd that's all about country and has great stories to tell, pick this one up.
We are looking forward to hearing more from Mike Lynch, Good Job!
